Holly Doerr, MA LLP

Psychotherapist

In our practice you will experience a warm and welcoming environment. Are you struggling with stress? Are trying to find balance again? My goal is to help you discover your strengths and happiness again. I am passionate about working with people who struggle to get through their day to day for a myriad of reasons including their relationships with others, overall stress, and feelings of anxiety or depression. I have availability for Telehealth services, and provide in-person sessions in our Farmington Hills location.

A little about me: I earned my master’s (MA) degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology with a concentration in behavior analysis. As a psychotherapist I strive to provide a non-judgmental, safe space for clients to explore contributing factors that contribute to their current struggles.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you on your life journey. Life can be overwhelming, but you are not in it alone. No matter what you are currently struggling with, therapy can help you get your life back on track. Together we can help navigate the challenges you may be facing in a safe space.

When life becomes unmanageable due to a variety of circumstances, who or what do we tend to turn to? Anxiety, depression, and traumas of any kind mask over our true selves, shielding us from who we want to be. These masks also protect us from the fear that lies with working on these debilitating issues, more likely than not we pick up unhealthy habits and behaviors to help us cope. A lot of times we do not realize how this affects not just us, but any relationship we are in (personal, business, school, etc.) during these times we are struggling.

It is important to know that we are not alone in this difficult journey. I am here for you in a compassionate and empathetic way as we work together to identify those roadblocks that are currently keeping you from ‘being’; helping you to overcome them or to better manage them the next time we face that same barrier, because we almost always do! I work with a variety of treatment modalities that are unique to each individual’s needs and that help us achieve the best results for you in your healing.

Now, some things about me! I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology in 2018. Since 2013 however, my clinical background includes working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation setting providing individual psychotherapy with individuals diagnosed with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I also have extensive experience in administering and scoring neuropsychological test batteries in various outpatient settings including a hospital-based program as well as in the setting of a neurobehavioral rehabilitation program.

I do look forward to meeting with you and creating a safe space where we can begin the journey of healing. I am accepting new clients, and am currently available via telehealth and in person in the evenings and on Saturday for now, but will look to expand those days and times soon.
